TERMS & CONDITIONS
By purchasing a rug from OUIVE you agree to the following terms and conditions:

SHIPPING
We are happy to offer free domestic shipping to all orders over $500. At the moment our online store is only accepting orders being shipped within the U.S.  If you live outside of the U.S. please contact us directly to place your order.
Orders will be shipped within 1-7 business days of placing your order. Please allow additional time for any cleaning or repairs needed. Once your order has shipped you will receive confirmation email including your tracking number. Delivery will take approximately 3-5 business days depending on your location. If you are in a rush to receive your rug by a specific date please email us BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER and we can discuss how we can meet your needs.

Please note all of our deliveries require a signature confirmation and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.


LOSS or DAMAGE
All of our shipments require a signature at time of delivery. We are not responsible for any deliveries which can not be made due to incorrect address details. Please be sure to check your shipping details carefully and insure they are correct and someone will be available to sign for the package. In the unfortunate event that your rug is damaged during shipment please contact us to file a claim within 3 days of receiving your rug and we will work with you and our shipper to resolve the issue as fast as possible. Please keep all packaging materials in the event the shipper requires such evidence to process your claim.
 
SALES TAX, CUSTOMS & DUTIES
Orders shipped within the United States are free of customs and duties. New York state sales tax will be applied at check out for customers living in New York. If you live in New York and are tax exempt please contact us before placing your order. For all other countries: All customs, duties, import tax and clearance charges are the buyers responsibility and are not included in the price of rugs. Please feel free to contact us before placing your order to get an estimate of what customs and duty fees apply to your order.

RETURN POLICY
All purchases are final sale.
We want you to be truly satisfied and in love with your new rug so please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have prior to placing your order. However, due to the nature of our small business at this time we unfortunately cannot accept returns at this time.

CONDITION OF RUGS
All of our rugs are handmade and therefore may contain some irregularities. All rugs are as sold “as is” with the understanding that any “vintage” rugs are pre-owned and subject to normal wear consistent with age. Any cleaning or restorations are made at our discretion prior to shipping. If you would like to make a cleaning or restoration requests please let us know before placing your order. Please note as most textiles tend to absorb the scent of their previous environment, allow your rug a few days to air out and accept the new scent of your home. Any creases due to folding the rugs for shipping or storage will fade as the carpet is laid flat and the fibers have a chance to settle.

PHOTOGRAPHY
We do our best to represent our rugs as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary do to the nature of differences between digital device screens as well as different lighting scenarios at our shooting location vs. that of your home. If you have any questions about the colors of any specific rug please feel free to email me and we will supply you with whatever information will help you get a better sense of the rugs appearance.
