Rectangular shag Moroccan leather pouf made from recycled leather scraps. I call these guys my little monsters and you have definitely never seen anything like these before. These super fun leather floor poufs are a great way to add texture to your space; bold enough to make a statement but neutral in color to fit with any decor. Each floor cushion is handmade in Morocco up-cycled from recycled genuine leather in a variety of sophisticated hues blended together: black, green, dark brown - the same way a deep black ink has a sheen of colors running through it. Small cuttings of leather are up-cycled to create a Boucherouite leather rug which is then shaped and lined with an additional layer of cow leather for extra strength and durability and transformed into these one-of-a-kind floor pillows.*

  • Up-cycled from leather scraps
  • Made with 100% natural leather and dyes.
  • Double-lined for extra durability.
  • Highest quality and craftsmanship.
  • Approximately 21" x 21" x 10" inches
  • Color: Ink

*Poufs do not come filled. We recommend filling them with cotton batting, polystyrene beans or any old clothing, blankets or pillows.

All of our rugs are handmade in Morocco by women using traditional techniques of the nomadic Amazigh (Berber) tribes. Each tribe possesses its own distinctive style defined by color, pattern, technique and materials. Because the Amazigh language was traditionally non-written, women utilized rug making as a medium of personal expression and story telling passed down over generations. Traditionally the women do not work from any preset plans, but instead respond intuitively to their looms row by row revealing the full composition of their creation only once the rug is completed and removed from the loom. Each rug takes several weeks to months to create.

All rugs are as sold “as is” with the understanding that any “vintage” rugs are pre-owned and subject to normal wear consistent with age. Any cleaning or restorations are made at our discretion prior to shipping. If you would like to make a cleaning or restoration requests please let us know before placing your order.

Use suction only settings on vacuums, do not use a beater bar or rotating brush which can damage the fibers of your rug. Professional cleaning is recommended as needed. Rug pads are also recommended to minimize wear on the knots and to keep your rug from sliding around.
